Is THIS the world’s BEST job? Lucky candidate will earn £24,000 to go on luxury holiday

It’s usually a case of splashing thousands of pounds if you want to go on holiday.

Make it a luxury break, and you’ll be saving a lot longer.

But one travel company wants to pay YOU for the privilege.

Third Home has advertised a position which may be the best job on the planet.

The luxury property and travel club – labeled the “Airbnb for millionaires” – posted its listing on Facebook.

Seeking an avid traveler, the job involves blogging and photographing a three-month luxury holiday.

The chosen candidate will stay in opulent vacation homes across the world and document their priceless experiences.

Though many people would do this for free, the company is offering a salary of US$ 10,000 (£8,061) per month.

That’s a grand total of US$ 24,000 (£19,342) for the three-month stint.

And as an extra bonus, you get to bring a friend along with you during the trip.

Willing applicants have to submit a one-minute video to bestjobontheplanet@thirdhome.com, detailing why they’re the best person for the job.

Required qualifications include excellent writing skills, English fluency and varied social media platform experience.

You’ll have to act fast if you’re looking to snap up the dream role – applications close on March 30.

The position will start between August and November this year, and unsurprisingly, you’ll have to fight off a lot of competition.

Third Home’s job advertisement has already been shared more than 600 times on Facebook, with over 1,440 comments on the post.

Express.co.uk recently revealed another coveted job for travel enthusiasts – a stock image photographer.
