Highland Porsches and Ford Firing | Autoblog Podcast #516

We have good news and bad news about the Autoblog Podcast. The good news is we have some sweet new recording hardware that should make the podcast better than ever. The bad news is that something was wrong with this recording, so Greg Migliore sounds like he talking through a tin can. We’ll have it all sorted out next week.

If you can accept the audio issues, this episode is a treat. Alex Kierstein and Reese Counts join Greg, and Alex recounts the trip he took to Scotland to drive all manner of classic Porsche 911s. That lucky jerk. We also talk some automotive news, like the “retirement” of Mark Fields at Ford. And, due to other technical difficulties, Spend My Money took a week off as well.

The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you’d like us to answer or you want buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. (If you record audio of a question with your phone and get it to us, you could hear your very own voice on the podcast. Neat, right?) And if you have other questions or comments, please send those too.
