Google Maps: Surprising moment when THIS prank is caught on camera

Google Maps captures footage of everyday life from around the globe.

The majority of the footage passes by undetected as nothing out of the ordinary in happening.

Occasionally however, certain images go viral after users of Google’s Street View spot nothing noteworthy.

One image has caught the eye of the internet, as at first nothing looks strange or out of place – but take a closer look and you may spot it.

Taken on Seabright Avenue in Seabright, California, the seaside neighbourhood looks to be having a normal day.

The image is taken on the left hand side of a road looking across at a local salon.

Pedestrians appear to be going about their daily business but something strange is amongst them.

A silver car is parked directly in front of the Salon Gallery but this is no ordinary car.

In what appears to be a hilarious prank, the car is completely wrapped in cling film.

Although this is a particularly strange situation to find on the street, passers by don’t appear to be phased by what’s in front of them.

Whether this is a joke or a deliberate move is still not known. However, the car certainly won’t be driving off anywhere soon.

For the past 13 years Google Maps has been capturing bizarre events such as this one.

A previous viral image captured another example of Google’s weird street view footage.

The image show a man being followed home by a very peculiar stalker.

In what appears to be a potential technical glitch, the man’s blurred double is just a few paces behind him.

Whatever the reason, it definitely looks strange as the man in front seems to be completely unaware of his identical twin stalker.
