Google Maps street view has captured a number of comical images from all over the world.
With cars decked out in 360-degree cameras, Google has been driving the streets since 2007 creating a 3D searchable map of the globe.
But it’s not just its practical use that has users hooked, the tool has helped uncover a whole host of mysteries.
Some users claim Google has captured proof of extraterrestrial activity, with potential UFOs spotted.
While on the other hand, some users have taken to virtually strolling the streets, searching the globe for funny and unfortunate situations like the one this tourist found himself in.
The image taken from street view shows a busy flight of stairs of what appears to be a popular tourist attraction.
A woman in a red coat can be seen kneeling down on the steps with a camera in hand ready to take a photo of somebody sat further up the steps.
Another family can be seen standing with a pushchair laden with bags and looking up at the budding or monument that is hidden from view.
However, there is something odd about the image and appears to have grabbed the attention of the other tourists.
A man in jeans is standing at the top of the steps and has a scarf wrapped around his neck.
Although, unfortunately for the man, his head is missing – probably not the holiday photo he was going for.
There is something else unfortunate heading in the direction of the headless tourist.
Google has snapped a pigeon in mid-flight.
Appearing to have just taken to the air, the pigeon is heading for the headless man.
Street view stitches images together to create a whole map and has a tendency of merging and muddling parts of the image which explains the headless tourist.
However, much more real in the pigeon heading straight for the tourist.
Google failed to capture the rest of the scene, so it is unknown whether or not the bird hit the man.
This is not the first time holidaymakers have been caught in a Google blunder.
One unfortunate bikini wearing woman would have received a shock if she spotted herself lounging on the beach.
The woman can be seen reclining back on her arms, her hands placed on the pebbles.
It appears she may have been enjoying the sun a little too much, as her skin is a little red around her thighs.
However, this is not the only strange and unusual aspect of the footage.
The woman’s head seems to have disappeared entirely from view so that she is only visible from the shoulders down.
What’s more, she is missing a bottom, half her torso, and one of her arms – leaving her looking very strange indeed.
