Google Maps Street View has photographed a very strange scene snapped at a music festival in Poland.
Festivals tend to be colourful, fun-filled events but this group of people don’t seem to be approaching this in that way.
The photo shows four young girls staring stony-faced at Google camera as they stand in the street.
But to make matters more bizarre, all four of them are semi-naked and wearing black bras or bikini tops.
Two of them are wearing black shorts and two are wearing three-quarter-length black trousers.
What’s more, the ones in shorts have black trainers while the two in trousers have red trainers.
They stand in pairs and it’s unclear if it’s intentional but the girls in shorts stand to the right of the ones in trousers.
Both girls in the trousers have brunette hair and the girls with shorts have blonde hair.
With so many startling similarities between the two pairs – could there be more than meets the eye?
In fact, on closer inspection, an uncanny reality emerges from the intriguing Google image.
Rather than two sets of girls in the photo – there are in fact just two girls.
Due to a technological glitch, the young girls have been replicated in the same image, despite there seeming to be no seam in the picture.
To add to the mystery, behind the pair standing on the left there is a bearded man with a topknot holding up a large black item.
It’s possible the girls were well aware the Google camera was there and tricked it on purpose – or potentially the whole thing was a fascinating coincidence.
The scene was shot at Pol’and’Rock Festival – formerly known as Woodstock Festival Poland.
The event is an annual free rock music festival in western Poland held at Kostrzyn nad Odrą.
This is not the first time passersby have managed to con Google Maps Street View.
One image on Google Maps shows the inside of the Google office in Lenoir, North Carolina in the US.
The photo has captured a computer screen on which the words are written, “Super Secret Strategic Pue Plan” (PUE stands for power usage effectiveness). Under the words is a graph which depicts an alarming slump downwards.
At first glance, it appears that the Google user has stumbled over a top-secret project that Google is working on. It seems as though the computer has been left unattended by accident.
However, the likelihood is that Google is all too aware of what it is doing and the team at the tech giant have enjoyed playing a practical joke on the internet user.
