Alongside the ordinary looking residential streets and national parks is everything from the amusing to the downright bizarre.
One particular image shows a Star Wars-like structure in the middle of the Egyptian desert.
The unique sight triggered a debate among UFO hunters who claimed the unique building has links to UFO research.
Some have even described it as a ‘secret UFO base’.
The structure’s existence was noted by SecureTeam10, a source for “UFO sighing videos”.
On the website’s YouTube video someone commented: “This reminds me of Star Wars.”
Others were more skeptical and offered logical explanations.
One person wrote: “It’s right next to the highway. How secret can it be?”
Some people suggested it was a “sand farm”, and others even a missile launch site”.
Another image on Google Earth shows an isolated iceberg off the coast of Antarctica.
