One of the more creepy finds on Google Maps was captured in a field in Finland.
The image showed two small hut lodgings flanked by the curving edge of dense forest.
Snow speckled the ground, which stretched flat as far as the eye could see.
But in the centre of the photograph was a field filled with some very strange visitors.
At first glance it appeared there were people congregated in the space, but zooming in revealed the real occupants.
The field was filled with lines and lines of scarecrows.
It’s unclear why so many of the scarecrows were needed for such a small space, or how they came to be there in the first place.
But the sight was enough to creep out its viewers, with the image quickly going viral on the internet.

Another image captured on the streets of New York had the internet stumped.
A glance at the photo revealed several people on the sidewalk, with one man standing towards the middle.
Nothing seemed out of the ordinary about the image before a closer inspection.
There, perched on the man’s head, was a black and white cat.
The feline used its paws and feet to balance on top of the man’s cap.
