Neville was outraged at the way Robles was caught out of position and allowed Divock Origi to score the third goal in the Reds’ win.
After seeing the strike in real time, Neville – commentating for Sky Sports – said: “Something is not quite right here, I’m not sure what it is.”
And then all comes clear to the Manchester United legend when he sees a replay.
He fumed: “It’s pathetic goalkeeping.
“It goes in the centre of the goal. It’s poor from Ashley Williams but I’m not sure what Robles is doing charging out.
“Why is he charging out there?
“It’s really poor goalkeeping but I’ve no idea what is he doing
“Why is he running out towards the ball? That’s so poor.”
