Another showed a group of supporters waiting on a canal boat to reach a bridge before throwing the contents of their glasses and bottles at them.
Social media users were quick to condemn the actions online.
“Can someone explain to me, how England fans throwing beer over random people passing by is funny? Its just plain embarrassing,” one wrote.
Another said: “England football fans once again reminding us all why everyone thinks they’re a massive bunch of d**ks, I see.”
Another wrote: “Some of England’s away fans are absolute scum like. Do whatever you want but don’t affect innocent people. Jumping in the canal = fine. Throwing beer onto tourists on a boat in the canal = d**kheads.”
Dutch Police have since announced that 25 England fans were detained overnight for drunken behaviour.
