Eden Hazard to Real Madrid REVELATION: Chelsea star hints at move, confirms talks STALLED

The Belgian is out of contract at Chelsea in 2020.

The club are yet to agree a contract extension with Hazard sparking fears an exit is imminent.

Back in September, he revealed to BT Sport’s Des Kelly that he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge for Real Madrid after the World Cup.

But after talks with Maurizio Sarri, the 27-year-old revealed he was prepared to stay put for at least another season.

Hazard started the season in breathtaking form but has not scored a goal since the 7th of October in a win at Southampton.

He has scored seven goals in the Premier League season, providing eight assists.

In an interview on Monday with RMC Sport, Hazard again hinted that he is keen on moving to the Spanish capital.

“The new coach [Sarri] thinks football like me, so we’ll see, the family is in London, I’m also going to be 28,” he said.

“I do not want to have any regrets at the end of my it’s a decision I’m going to make, I do not know when, but I’ll take it.”

Real Madrid are keen to add a new star man to their underperforming squad.

The club have paid the price for failing to replace Cristiano Ronaldo since his switch to Juventus.

Florentino Perez could turn to Hazard should he continue to flirt with the idea of wearing the famous white shirt.

“Me, you know me, I’ve always loved Real, even before [Zinedine] Zidane, we’ll see what happens,” he added.

“As I said, I’m already finishing this year with Chelsea, I still have a year of contract after this year, we’ll see.”

The Blues remain keen on keeping their star man but Hazard has even admitted himself that he does not know what it will take to keep him in west London.

“There was a bit of talk [with Chelsea about a new contract] but then it stopped, now we’re waiting,” he finished.

Chelsea bounced back from their shock defeat at Wolves by inflicting Manchester City’s first league defeat of the season on Saturday.

Sarri claimed last week that the club are waiting on the forward to pen a new deal.

“I want Eden here, of course,” said the Italian, who took over from Antonio Conte.

“But I want him here if he wants to stay here.

“The club is available to sign a new contract immediately, but it’s up to him if he wants to renew or not.

“I know very well that there are discussions between the club and the manager of Eden every week, I think,” he added.

“So if there is something new, the club will call me immediately.”
