The 25-year-old has enjoyed a sensational season at Stamford Bridge, earning him plenty of plaudits.
In Kante’s debut campaign with Chelsea, the energetic midfielder is on course to earn a second successive Premier league title.
Having been influential in Leicester’s shock success last term, Antonio Conte prioritised a £30million move last summer.
And since arriving at Chelsea, the France international has gone from strength to strength.
Kante is favourite to be crowned the PFA Player of the Year, and Champions League football awaits next season.
However, the Blues ace is not satisfied with his achievements and will not rest on his laurels looking forward.
“It’s always nice to hear nice things about yourself, but you have to step back, there’s still a lot of work,” Kante told Canal +.
“When I’m in France, I see the careers and the prize list.
“Of my teammates, I think that I have not done anything in football, and there is no reason to take it for someone else.”
Chelsea fans have really taken to Kante following his impressive year at the club, and Conte appears to be lining up a new midfield partner for him.
Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas have accompanied him so far, but a deal has reportedly been agreed with Monaco to bring Kante’s compatriot Tiemoue Bakayoko to west London.
