Juventus have indicated that they are willing to cash in on the Brazilian wing-back who has failed to sign a new contract.
The Blues spent the whole of last summer trying to tempt the Italian giants into selling the £70million rated star.
But they found that their £55m bid for Sandro was snubbed and the player has suffered a slump in form as a result.
Juventus now feel that they will have to do business when the transfer window opens at the start of next month.
They will however wait for Sandro to make the first move knowing that competition to sign him as increased over the last few months.
French giants Paris Saint-Germain have shown an interest while Manchester United and Manchester City are also keen to give Chelsea competition.
Meanwhile The Blues are considering offering Michy Batshuayi as a makeweight in a deal for Monaco playmaker Thomas Lemar.
Chelsea believe that now their former technical director Michael Emenalo is working for Monaco gives them an edge over Arsenal in the race to sign Lemar.
