Championship table predicted: Play-off and relegation spots revealed – Fulham pip Cardiff

Cardiff City blew a huge chance to cement their automatic promotion spot on Friday night, missing two late penalties during their 1-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Neil Warnock’s side would have taken a giant step back towards the Premier League with a win at the Cardiff City Stadium, but both Gary Madine and Junior Hoillet fluffed their lines.

The result keeps Fulham’s hopes of automatic promotion alive, while Wolves are edging closer to the Championship title.

At the other end of the table, there is still everything to play for with a host of teams in danger of dropping down into League One.

The stats geeks at Football Web Pages have done some calculations and worked out the most likely result of every fixture between now and the end of the season – so how will the final standings look?
