Barcelona star Lionel Messi blames Real Madrid for the referee’s failure to award a goal in yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Valencia.
The 30-year-old saw his strike wrongly chalked off with the officials failing to spot the ball crossing the line.
And Diario Gol claim Messi blames the decision not on the official – but Real Madrid.
It is said he feels the local media have turned against Barcelona and are using dirty tricks to try and get Los Blancos back in the title race.
Real and Barcelona have long accused each other of influencing the decisions of referees with Jose Mourinho infamously accusing the Catalan giants of fixing a game with UEFA back in 2011.
Barcelona players discussed Neymar after yesterday’s game against Valencia.
Don Balon say they were all discussing the rejuvenation of Jordi Alba.
And many members of the squad supposedly reckon the Spain international’s resurgence is down to Neymar’s exit.
The Brazil international often forced Alba to sit back and defend rather than go forward.
But, since Neymar’s exit, Alba has found himself having far more license to roam.
Barcelona star Messi was desperate for Suarez to score against Valencia yesterday,
Don Balon say the 30-year-old is aware of how Suarez’s current struggles have hampered his game.
And, in a bid to get him to be the matchwinner, Messi made a specific request.
He supposedly asked Paulinho to maraud further forward in a bid to tee up Suarez.
But the chance never came and Barcelona were left to settle for a point instead.
