Arsenal vs West Brom: Best snaps as Gunners wear red shorts for first time since 1978

Arsenal opted to wear red shorts for the first time in 30 years for their away trip to West Brom.

Their usual white shorts would have clashed with the Baggies’ and the Gunners didn’t want to mix their home, away and third kits to accomodate Premier League rules.

Instead, the players were given red shorts for the game, a common occurance in the 1970s to avoid similar clashes.

The shorts won’t be available to buy and aren’t expected to be used again anytime soon.
