That is the opinion of BBC Sport pundit and former Chelsea and Aston Villa midfielder Andy Townsend.
Aubameyang, Ozil and Mkhitaryan all played 90 minutes in Arsenal’s 2-0 opening day loss to Manchester City on Sunday.
They, along with a number of other Gunners players, disappointed in Emery’s first competitive match in charge.
Townsend was at the Emirates and was not impressed with the three attackers, especially striker Aubameyang.
And he has big doubts over whether they can have the influence Emery needs to lift Arsenal into the top four.
“I was at Arsenal yesterday,” Townsend said on BBC Radio 5 Live.
“What stood out for me or what sticks in my mind most, Aubameyang, Mkhitaryan and Mesut Ozil.
“Are they going to make the difference for their new boss?
“Are they going to be the three, that if they get it right, can elevate Unai Emery into the stratosphere early on as the Arsenal manager?
“Or are they his biggest problem?
“What I saw from those three yesterday, Aubameyang, he does a lot of walking around for me.
“First game of the season that would worry me.
“For the first game of the season, I saw him walking around an awful lot.
“When the other two aren’t firing, then as a striker when you’re up there on your too, it’s difficult, and I get that.
“But I’m not just sure whether those three are going to save him and are going to propel him into the top four and are going to make the difference for them, or they’re going to be his biggest problem.”
Arsenal’s next Premier League game is against Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this Saturday (5.30pm).
