Anthony Joshua taunted by Joseph Parker… you will not believe what he said

Joshua successfully defended his IBF and WBA world heavyweight titles with a in Cardiff last night.

Despite getting his nose bloodied early on in the contest, Joshua landed some huge punches and the fight was eventually stopped by referee Phil Edwards.

Joshua has a choice as to who he could fight next, with a bout against Deontay Wilder widely talked about.

But Parker didn’t hold back in criticising Joshua’s performance, and reckons he could knock him out.

Talking of a potential showdown with Joshua, Parker told the New Zealand Herald: “The more I watch him the more I want to fight him.

”I’ve wanted to for ages but we’re waiting for them to give us a good offer.

“The more I see of him the more I think ‘damn, if I fought this guy I’d knock him out’.

“It looked like Joshua was struggling a bit trying to KO him.

“I fought Takam and afterwards Joshua said ‘if I had have fought him I would have knocked him out’.

“He couldn’t knock him out [the result was a technical knockout] and I think it was an early stoppage.”
