MANAGERIAL MERRY-GO-ROUND
18:55: David Moyes, Alan Pardew and Sam Allardyce all hired in the same month. It feels like the Premier League’s version of Wife Swap!
Nice and outdated reference there…
Anyway, we’ve got some familiar faces back with Pardew installed at West Brom boss and Allardyce set to be appointed to lead Everton’s fight for Premier League survival.
Caretaker boss David Unsworth will remain in charge for tonight’s key clash against West Ham, with Big Sam due to be in the hotseat for the first time against Huddersfield on Saturday.
As Paddy Power have said: If anyone sees a plague of locusts, or Alan Curbishley in a new job, it’s time to repent all sins!

WHAT’S ON?
18:35: What’s NOT on should be the question!
Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all in action at the top of the table.
And there’s plenty happening at the bottom with a relegation (can I say that this early?) six-pointer between Everton and West Ham.
Perhaps we’ll see Sam Allardyce casting an eye over David Unsworth’s last game in charge. Hope he forgoes the pint of wine…
GOOD EVENING
18:30: Welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League.
It’s the second instalment of midweek fixtures with no less than 12 sides in action.
Fingers crossed we can eclipse last night’s tally of 13 goals in four games – and we just might with Chelsea and Manchester City’s favourable ties.
I understand there might be a TV scheduling conflict in many households across the nation with The Apprentice starting at 9pm.
So if you’re one of those people trying to keep updated on the sly – you’re in the right place!

STOKE vs LIVERPOOL – PREVIEW
Stoke’s Ramadan Sobhi is expected to be fit for tonight’s game.
The winger sustained a knock to the ankle in Saturday’s 2-1 loss at Crystal Palace but boss Mark Hughes has said he should be fine to be involved.
Hughes has also said Saido Berahino, who was left out of the matchday 18 at the weekend, is in his thoughts for this contest. Geoff Cameron (concussion) and Jack Butland (finger) remain sidelined.
Liverpool forwards Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are set to return after being rested for Saturday’s 1-1 draw at home to Chelsea.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Daniel Sturridge, their two replacements at the weekend, look most likely to miss out while Georginio Wijnaldum could come back into midfield at the expense of James Milner.
Emre Can has recovered from a muscular injury and will rejoin the squad but a late decision will be made on defender Dejan Lovren.
MANCHESTER CITY vs SOUTHAMPTON – PREVIEW
Manchester City remain without defenders John Stones and Benjamin Mendy.
Centre-back Stones (hamstring) is likely to be out until the end of December while Mendy (knee) is not expected to play again until April.
Eliaquim Mangala is in contention to play in central defence if captain Vincent Kompany, only recently returned from a hamstring injury, is rested.
Southampton will welcome central midfielder Oriol Romeu back from suspension.
Fellow midfielder Mario Lemina returned from an ankle problem as a second-half substitute against the Toffees and came through unscathed, but defender Matt Targett (leg) remains sidelined.
ARSENAL vs HUDDERSFIELD – PREVIEW
Arsenal will be hopeful Mesut Ozil overcomes illness to be involved in tonight’s Premier League visit of Huddersfield.
The Germany international missed the 1-0 win at Burnley on Sunday but trained yesterday in an attempt to be available.
Alex Iwobi (leg) is definitely missing, as is long-term injury absentee Santi Cazorla (ankle) but they are Arsene Wenger’s only two sidelined players.
Huddersfield will be without suspended winger Rajiv Van la Parra following his red card in Sunday’s home defeat to Manchester City, but head coach David Wagner has no new selection problems.
CHELSEA vs SWANSEA – PREVIEW
Defender David Luiz is out of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Swansea with a knee injury.
Luiz lost his place to Andreas Christensen and was an unused substitute in last Saturday’s draw at Liverpool, with the full extent of his injury yet to be known.
Swansea are without Tammy Abraham at Stamford Bridge as the on-loan Chelsea striker cannot play against his parent club.
Federico Fernandez remains in his native Argentina following the death of his father and Dutch defender Mike van der Hoorn will continue to deputise.

BOURNEMOUTH vs BURNLEY – PREVIEW
Bournemouth will have captain Simon Francis available again following a one-match ban for the visit of Burnley.
Striker Jermain Defoe (calf) and midfielder Junior Stanislas (groin) both missed Saturday’s goalless draw at Swansea.
Burnley’s ever-present back four could see its first change of the Premier League season, with Matt Lowton a doubt.
Lowton took a knock against Arsenal on Sunday and will be assessed, with Phil Bardsley ready to step in at right-back in required.
Chris Wood could return in place of Ashley Barnes up front but Dean Marney, Jon Walters (both knee) and Tom Heaton (shoulder) all remain out.
EVERTON vs WEST HAM – PREVIEW
Everton duo Leighton Baines and Michael Keane are likely to sit out tonight’s clash with West Ham after both came off with injuries at Southampton on Sunday.
Fellow defender Mason Holgate (groin), who has missed the last three matches, will be assessed ahead of the contest at Goodison Park.
Oumar Niasse is unavailable as he completes his two-match suspension, but Tom Davies can be called upon again having served his one-game ban.
Marko Arnautovic should be available despite limping off towards the end of Friday night’s 1-1 draw with Leicester.
Javier Hernandez, Michail Antonio (both hamstring) and James Collins (ankle) are not quite ready to return.
