Watford vs Manchester United: Why Marco Silva’s side will BEAT Jose Mourinho’s – Ross Dyer

Silva became Watford manager in the summer and has led his side to eighth in the Premier League after 13 games this season.

His great start at Vicarage Road has already led to other clubs being interested in his services.

Everton wanted Silva to replace Ronald Koeman, who was sacked by the Toffees last month.

However, Watford rejected all approaches by Everton, who now look set to appoint former England boss Sam Allardyce as Koeman’s replacement.

Former Chelsea midfielder and ESPN FC pundit Craig Burley has predicted this week’s Premier League results.

The Scot believes Jose Mourinho will have too much for his Portuguese compatriot.

“I love what Marco Silva’s doing,” Burley said.

“I think he’s big shout for the Everton job but it doesn’t look like he’s going there.

“However, the extra quality from United going forward and the fact they can’t let (Manchester) City get any further away.”

But Dyer disagrees and thinks Silva will prove his worth against the Red Devils.

Watford don’t want to let Marco Silva go,” he said.

“That’s why he’s not going and that’s why they’re going to beat Manchester United, because they are fantastic.”
