It was a tough night for the Warriors, who were confronted with an imposing Celtics defence, particularly in the second half.
Kevin Durant posted a game-high 24 points in the road loss, while Klay Thompson finished with 13 points.
Thompson and Stephen Curry were a combined 5-of-20 from behind the three-point line.
Aron Baynes came off the bench for the Celtics, finishing with four points and five rebounds in 12 minutes of action.
The Celtics improved to 14-2 on the season, while the Warriors now sit at 11-4.
