Premier League scores LIVE: Express Sport brings you all the latest goals, news, updates and results from around the grounds

SWANSEA 0-1 BRIGHTON – MURRAY

29: Things aren’t looking good for Paul Clement as visitors Brighton take the lead through Glenn Murray, who’s on fire recently.

The veteran forward gets on the end of an Anthony Knockaert cross and knees it home. They all count!

NEWCASTLE 0-0 BOURNEMOUTH

32: Newcastle steal the ball after some good pressing in midfield, but Joselu can only scuff his effort wide. The Cherries respond with a corner but it’s easy dealt with.

SOUTHAMPTON 0-0 BURNLEY

29: Nathan Redmond heads tamely over as Southampton probe from right to left without looking overly threatening.

NEWCASTLE 0-0 BOURNEMOUTH

26: Quite easy to see why the Cherries have been struggling this season. Eddie Howe’s side look low on confidence are allowing Newcastle to dictate things. I’m sure they’re bored of this criticism, but they’re too nice!

HUDDERSFIELD 0-0 WEST BROM

23: Superb block from Christopher Schindler to deny Jay Rodriguez’s effort after he ghosted through on goal.

NEWCASTLE 0-0 BOURNEMOUTH

Analysis from our reporter Ian Murtagh, at St James’ Park.

20: Just 20 minutes gone at St James’ Park and already the Bournemouth goal is beginning to lead a charmed life.

Begovic has already pulled off two wonderful saves to keep out thunderous efforts from Ritchie and Atsu.

The Cherries keeper wasn’t the only one performing defensive heroics. Gayle’s far post header from Ritchie’s cross was heading for the net until Cook saved with his best.

Then Lady luck came to the visitors’ rescue with Ritchie’s curler hitting the woodwork. The rebound  came out to Gayle, who rolled the ball into an empty net only for the goal to be ruled out for offside.

Replays suggest it was a harsh decision.

18: I think I might have over-sold these games in the build-up. I was praying for a couple of four-goal thrillers, but I’ll be happy with one goal before the half-time whistle.

NEWCASTLE 0-0 BOURNEMOUTH

15: Florian Lejeune with two classy contributions so far. This time he flicks the ball over Wilson’s head and clears well.

SOUTHAMPTON 0-0 BURNLEY

13: I saw that Burnley were 6/1 to beat Southampton this afternoon. Not sure the bookies have priced that correctly because the Clarets are a real force away from home. Quiet start on the South Coast.

SWANSEA 0-0 BRIGHTON

10: Shane Duffy to the rescue to prevent Tammy Abraham from tapping home from six-yards out. The Swans are bossing the possession stats down at the Liberty, Chris Hughton won’t mind that too much.

HUDDERSFIELD 0-0 WEST BROM

8: Bright start from the Baggies. You always sense Tony Pulis will pull something out the bag when he’s under pressure. He’s crafty like that.

NEWCASTLE 0-0 BOURNEMOUTH

6: Newcastle aren’t wasting any time in getting stuck in. Shelvey sprays it wide for Atsu, but the cross leaves much to be desired.

3: Slightly delayed start to proceedings following Remembrance tributes around the grounds.

AND WE’RE OFF!

1: I wouldn’t even bother trying to do an accumulator today folks. I haven’t clue which way any of these are going. Save the pennies for some Sparklers tonight.

SWANSEA vs BRIGHTON

14:50: Paul Clement, whose just arrived from moonlighting as an undertaker, knows Swansea need points today.

Clement’s side sit outside the relegation zone on goal difference ahead of today’s home game with Brighton.

And he knows he’s coming under increasing scrutiny from supporters to oversee an upturn in performances and results.

NEWCASTLE vs BOURNEMOUTH

Analysis from our reporter Ian Murtagh, at St James’ Park.

14:45:Newcastle fans will be happy when they hear the make-up of the two teams – but it’s the Cherries side which will have them smiling.

Because there’s no Jermain Defoe in the starting line-up – and he’s a striker who always does well at St James’ Park.

He scored on his last appearance on Tyneside for bitter rivals Sunderland in a 1-1 draw.

Bournemouth’s last visit to these parts spelt the end of Steve McClaren’s disastrous spell in charge of the Magpies. He was sacked five days after a 3-1 defeat.

Rafa Benitez had left out Ayoze Perez, recalling Dwight Gayle for his first start since Newcastle lost 1-0 at Huddersfield in August.

AFTERNOON

14:40: Welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League.

Just the four fixtures to look forward too this afternoon, but it’s all about quality over quantity, right?

That’s certainly what’s just happened at the Bet365 Stadium, where Stoke and Leicester played out an exciting 2-2 draw.

I’d be very happy indeed if we could average four goals in the rest of today’s matches.

No pressure, lads!
