Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata looks set to join Manchester United this summer.
Spanish radio station Onda Cero say the 24-year-old will officially complete a £64million move to Jose Mourinho’s side on Monday.
“Morata goes to Man Utd for 73 million euros,” journalist Brujula del Deporte said.
“The intention of the player is to travel on Monday to sign for five seasons.”
The Spain international is wanted as a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic who, after a solitary season at the club, has been released.
Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti would prefer to join Real Madrid over Barcelona, reports claim.
The Italy international is wanted by La Liga’s two biggest clubs and could be on the move this summer.
However, Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim the player has told his agent a move to Real would be his No1 choice.
It is said he thinks Zinedine Zidane’s side are more likely to win trophies than Barcelona, who must rebuild following Luis Enrique’s departure.
His agent Donato Di Campli admitted to Tuttosport that PSG’s financial offers may not be enough to keep Verratti at the club by saying: “Now it is clear – money is not enough.
“Appeal is also needed and in the last four or five years, the French club have not done enough to improve in that regard.”
Atletico Madrid want Chelsea star Diego Costa to join AC Milan on loan, reports claim.
Diego Simeone is desperate to be reunited with the forward, who he let move to Stamford Bridge three years ago.
They are banned from signing players until January but Spanish outlet Don Balon claims they have a few tricks up their sleeve.
Simeone wants Costa to join AC Milan on loan so Atletico can buy him for cheaper in January.
They are prepared to pay £43million to sign him and a few months in Italy could benefit Costa if he leaves Chelsea.
