Jones enters the back of a devastating third-round KO victory over his bitter rival Daniel Cormier, though that result was overturned to a no contest after it emerged he failed a drug test ahead of the bout.
Express Sport will bring you all the action and reaction from the Los Angeles Forum this morning in what promises to be a thoroughly entertaining card.
Jones and Gustafsson are expected to make their respective walks to the Octagon at around 5:30am BST time, but there are several other fights on the card worth watching.

Uriah Hall returns to the win column in emphatic fashion.
Hall was being dominated by Lewis from the outset and seemed afraid to trade heavy leather.
But the New Yorker turned things around in the third round with a third round with a vicious counter right hand that separated Lewis from consciousness.
Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Live – 00:15 – Middleweights are currently on deck
A middleweight bout between Ultimate Fighter alumni Uriah Hall and Bevon Lewis is currently ongoing.
The dangerous Hall comes into the bout on the back of a stoppage loss to Paulo Costa at UFC 226.
Lewis, meanwhile, comes into the contest fresh off a first-round TKO victory over Alton Cunningham on season two of Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Live – 00:02 – Curtis Millender def Siyar Bahadurzada via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)
Curtis Millender continued his good run in the UFC in the second bout of the evening, edging the dangerous Siyar Bahadurzada.
Bahadurzada started the contest well but began to fade in the second and was well and truly outstruck in the third.
Millender has now set his sights on fighting Mike Perry next, who he dubbed ‘Michelle Perry’.
Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Live – 23:28 – Montel Jackson def Brian Kelleher via submission (D’Arce Choke) – Round 1, 1:40
The first fight of the evening didn’t last long at all, folks.
Dana White Looking For A Fight alumni Montel Jackson made light work of the tough Brian Kelleher, defeating choking him out with a D’Arce choke in less than two minutes.
Let’s hope the rest of tonight’s fights continue in the manner.
