N’Golo Kante is in contention to start for Chelsea against Crystal Palace this weekend, having missed their defeat to Manchester City after fainting during training.
The French midfielder was sidelined last week after feeling unwell at the Blues’ Cobham base, reportedly losing consciousness in the changing room after a training session.
Kante trained with his Chelsea team-mates yesterday and seems set for a return to action when the Eagles visit Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Ross Barkley may also return after a thigh problem but David Luiz (ankle), Tiemoue Bakayoko (calf) and Ethan Ampadu (thigh) are all out.
Alvaro Morata is also likely to be recalled up front following the Blues’ toothless showing against City, with Antonio Conte’s side failing to register a shot on target throughout the match.
