2017 Lexus IS In-Depth Review: It’s Not Afraid to Stir the Pot in a Simmering Segment

A fierce face and sculpted sheetmetal are supported by refined road manners and athletic moves. An optional F Sport package adds a tuned suspension and exclusive bodywork. Engines are determined by trim: The IS200t (a.k.a. the IS Turbo) sports a 241-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four; a 3.5-liter V-6 has 255 horses in the IS300 and 306 in the IS350. Power transfers through a six- or eight-speed automatic transmission to rear- or all-wheel drive.
