Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the 48-year-old teased the new series of her ghost-hunting show, describing it as the “most frightening” episode she has been a part of.
Yvette explained: “At the moment, we’re five episodes in and we seem to be capturing more and more phenomena which is fantastic for us.
“We’ve got 60-odd programmes in the shelf where nothing happens, and they’re incredibly boring and they’ve never been aired because nothing happens. I will sit there and think, ‘Oh nothing’s happening, this is really upsetting’.
“But every time we’re filming now, something is happening. We were filming at a location in Birmingham and we caught a woman crying on the EDP [Electronic Data Processing] machine and there was no one else in the building and there were no other women – there was only me and I certainly wasn’t crying; I was on camera at the time.
“It is just the most harrowing and horrible noise to hear and it was after us calling out a list of women’s names who had spent time [in the prison they chose], and we caught this crying on camera, which is really quite extraordinary,” she added.
Yvette also revealed that the Most Haunted team are about to head out on the road again to film another episode in what she calls “the most horrible house” she has ever visited.
“The most awful things have happened there, including murders and suicides,” the presenter confessed. “No one can live in this house because it’s too terrifying and they believe that evil resides in this house and it makes people do the most horrible things.
“So me being me, I’m like, ‘Right, get me in there now’, because I need to find out what this is about!”
Yvette is currently travelling the country taking her Most Haunted Experience to believers and sceptics across the UK and Ireland.
Speaking of the event, she revealed that everyone leaves having an “amazing evening”.
“When you can make a complete cynic turn around and say, ‘Actually, there is something to this‘, that’s what I’m about,” Yvette revealed.
