‘You’re out of kilter!’ Heseltine squirms as Dan Walker grills him on abandoning Tories

“Michael Gove has been speaking this morning,” the presenter began, adding: “He’s praised you as a great minister in the past.

“But he says you’re out of kilter and you’re wrong on this issue,” Walker continued, before going on to grill his guest.

“How do you respond to that?” the host asked, to which Heseltine replied: “Well he’s got nothing to worry about then.”

There was a brief moment of awkward silence following the blunt reposes, before the interviewer continued his line of questioning.
