The X Factor featured a spectacular audition from R&B boyband Misunderstood last night.
The duo, which consists of Stephan Benson, 23, and Jeffrey Okyere, 24, took the opportunity to sing their own song called Juicy Fruits.
They claimed that the track was a celebration of all the “juicy” parts of people’s bodies.
Suffice to say that the judges were blown away by the boyband who got four yeses.
However, Simon Cowell, 58, had actually already seen the pair before, as they previously reached the semi-finals of his other talent competition TV programme, Britain’s Got Talent.
Stephan and Jeffrey were part of the dance act Myztikal who reached the show’s semi-finals in 2010.
They have since left the dance group but apparently didn’t forget their skills as, as well as singing superbly during their X Factor audition, Misunderstood also showed off some incredible dance moves and performed a backflip off the stage.
Yet, that’s not their only claim to fame.
The duo has also worked with Little Mix and Britney Spears songwriter Maegan Cottone to produce the single Ghetto Style.
They have also worked with The Voice and Black Eyed Peas legend will.i.am in the recording studio, and he even took them to Jessica Alba’s 36th birthday party.
“Luckily the public still like these shows, and they’ve liked them for longer than we ever thought. We’ve never had a problem selling the show,” he finished.
Simon also mentioned that he’s not looking to retire any time soon, and joked that 60 is “the new 40”.
When quizzed about how he felt about his upcoming milestone, he added: “Oh forget it. No, I mean the good thing is the shows do well, they’re fun, and they’re producing talent, which is the most important thing. So why would you walk away from that? I wouldn’t.
He continued: “Certainly now with Louis [Tomlinson] and Robbie [Williams] we will definitely work on more things together as partners.
“And then, when my son Eric is at an age where he learns enough and wants to do it, but knows these people are friends, he will do.
“That’s always what I’ve wanted my company to be — that’s definitely my long-term plan,” finished the music mogul.
The X Factor continues tonight at 8pm on ITV.
