Alisah faced fellow contestant Sam Black while waiting for their names to be called out, it was the Filipino singer who was sent home.
The audience looked stunned, while Nicole Scherzinger seemed confused and disappointed by the result.
Alisah, 22, was visibly upset and wiped away her tears before thanking viewers for their support.
She said: “I never thought I would go this far and I can’t believe I just did it. Thank you very much for all your support.”
Host Dermot O’Leary said: “We have absolutely loved having you. You’re like a little marine.
“You just didn’t take no for an answer. Never give up, we wish you all the very best of luck!”
Alisah later tweeted: “Every moment at the @TheXFactor is A DREAM COME TRUE.
“Thank you for giving me a chance to showcase my God-given talent and to represent not just me, but my whole country. I am now living my dream.”
