Will Prince Harry and Meghan Markle be given this stately home by the Queen?

Meghan Markle is joining the Royal Family on May 19 when she marries Prince Harry.

The 36-year-old actress will marry the fifth-in-line to the British throne at St George’s Windsor Castle.

Currently Meghan and Harry live in Nottingham Cottage, at Kensington Palace.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also live in Kensington Palace, in lavish apartments with Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two.

Two years after Kate Middleton and Prince William married, just before the birth of Prince George, the Queen gave them a stately home.

Anmer Hall, which sits on the Sandringham Estate, was renovated for Kate and William in a £1.5million project.

The private royal family funds paid for a new rood, new kitchen, a conservatory, complete internal redecoration, and the planting of many trees for privacy.

Will the Queen give Prince Harry and Meghan their own stately home?

Royal expert and managing editor of DailyBreak Kelly Lynch said: “Her Majesty gifted William and Kate Anmer Hall.

“I’m not certain how many other homes are on the Sandringham Estate but I wouldn’t be surprised if one was gifted to Harry and Meghan.

Especially given the fact that the royals spend Christmas at Sandringham.”

York Cottage sits on Sandringham Estate. It is currently used as the estate’s office, but it could be repurposed into a home, where Meghan and Harry could be near Kate, William and their children.

Kelly added: “I will say that having homes near one another at Sandringham wouldn’t surprise me, since William and Harry are very close and I’m sure would want their children to grow up together.”

But the Queen could gift another home to Meghan and Harry.

“I wouldn’t rule out any available homes in Windsor, as that will be where Harry and Meghan will wed,” Kelly said.

Are Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton friends

A body language expert revealed their recent public appearance Royal Foundation Forum on Wednesday.

Meghan Markle’s wedding hair will be very similar to Kate Middleton’s according to one expert. While it is traditional for brides to wear their hair up on their wedding day, Kate bucked the trend, and Meghan may too.
