WATCH: Unsuspecting cricket eaten by terrifying hidden predator you will never see coming

The poor cricket is walking along a dusty floor, minding its own business.

However, little does the insect know that it is soon to fall prey to a terrifying creature.

The cricket looks as though it might get away but it is not to be.

At the last minute, a huge spider launches itself out of the ground and grabs the cricket, pulling its meal into its lair.

The terrifying trapdoor spider is found in China, Japan, and south east Asia.

They are also found in the southwestern United States and are considered very aggressive.

The creepy crawlies create burrows with fake doors, which they can use to jump out on their prey.

These trap doors are made from soil, vegetation, and the spider’s silk.

The spiders masterfully camouflage their homes with plants and soil.

Therefore their victims have no idea they knocking on the door of the animal that will make them dinner.

They eat insects, frogs, baby birds, baby snakes, mice and small fish – if they can get their hands on them.

However, they are eaten in turn by birds, bandicoots, centipedes and scorpions.

In quite a different viral video, a woman plays on a slip ’n slide in her garden.

Britons enjoy nothing more than hurtling themselves down such slides, inevitably met with grass stains on the other side.

One video has captured two women playing with one similar aqua slide in their back garden.

However, things don’t go too smoothly for these women.
