Cruise ships are made to withstand most weather conditions such as storms and lightning strikes.
Yet it doesn’t make it any less terrifying when it does encounter adverse weather.
The strong ships hold against the waves but it creates some terrifyingly close calls.
Only those with a strong stomach would be able to be on the ship at that moment.
A viral video shows the moment a cruise ship is caught in a storm when out at sea.
At first, it doesn’t appear to be struggling against the water.
However, it’s horrifying descent seems to take forever as the waves creep away from it.
In a dramatic scene, the wave then crashes over the top of the ship before drenching the deck and subsiding.
The man filming appears to stay relatively calm as he keeps silent the entire time.
As it then sinks into the wave, a frantic beeping can be heard which seems rather ominous.
The unidentified cruise ship does appear to come out of the wave unscathed.
Although for passengers onboard, it may not have felt like it.
