Unsuspecting pedestrians are often caught on camera in embarrassing situations.
One young woman was caught by CCTV in an empty car park as she was leaving.
Filmed by what appears to be a security guard, she is seen running towards a moving camper-van as it exits the car park.
It is a painful ending for the poor woman.
As the van drives off, she is seen running behind it to catch up.
What she fails to notice is the metal barrier coming down in front of her.
She runs towards it but doesn’t make it through as it slams down, catching her in the face as her shoe flies off and is knocked to the ground.
With the camera shaking from the person filming laughing, she thankfully gets back up again and seems to be okay if not in some pain.
The video has since gone viral, with over 424,000 views already.
Imgur users were baffled why she tried to run through the barrier.
One asked: “Why would you seriously not duck or go around?”
Others shared their own gruesome experiences.
