WATCH: Heart-stopping moment bike rider narrowly avoids colliding with THIS

Driving along winding roads on a picture perfect day is usually an activity that incites relaxation.

But for this motorbike rider, his scenic drive proved anything but.

Christopher Bull was zipping along Carmel Valley Road East in California when his speedy ride was shockingly interrupted.

From a camera attached to the front of his bike, footage showed the winding road lined by towering green trees on either side.

As Christopher rounded the bend, a large deer suddenly appeared right next to the front of the bike.

The deer had leapt out onto the road, hidden by the shadows as it tried to dart to the other side.

Christopher can be heard on the video yelling, “Oh my God!” before slowing down to a stop on the side of the road.

Less than a second separated the bike and the deer from a nasty collision, and Christopher said the experience caused him to “totally freak out”.

His friends could be heard cheering him on from the boat as it ploughed along at alarming speed.

The waterskier took it one step further when he grabbed a beer from his friend on the boat and tossed his head back to take a swig.

For a brief moment it looked as though he had conquered the challenge, until things went horribly wrong.

Losing his footing as he tried to hand the beer back, the waterskier flipped forward and face planted into the water.
