WATCH: Flight attendant performs this shocking activity on the plane

A Norwegian Air flight attendant was caught doing something very strange on the flight.

The flight attendant could be seen attempting to close the overhead baggage lockers on an empty plane.

Clad in a black outfit and red scarf, the woman quickly used her leg to shut the lockers by lifting it straight over her head.

Her flexibility couldn’t quite be matched by the pilot, however.

The pilot tried to do the same manoeuvre although failed and nearly fell backwards onto a seat.

He then laughed at his awful attempt and looked embarrassed on camera.

While the pilot didn’t manage it, the female cabin crew member raised her leg to shut the locker while wearing a pair of heeled boots.

The video was actually taken by a woman called Eve McDonald, a fellow flight attendant, who captured flexible crew member Kaita Polo.

Posted on Instagram in 2016, the video has had more than 9,000 views with other users shocked at her skills.

One wrote: “Wow!” while another remarked: “Kick a**!”

A fellow flight attendant wrote: “Haha, I’ll challenge some of my KLM colleagues!”

Others were not as impressed: “In Russia you could be fired for this.”

It isn’t the first time a flight attendant has shocked people onboard a flight.

One flight attendant received a marriage proposal onboard from the pilot before the flight took off.

Cabin crew members are subject to very strict rules when it comes to travelling.

What they can wear, as well as their height can all be parts of the job description.

In the past, many flight attendants would have to be a certain weight as well, although most airlines have now scrapped this requirement.

Instead, as long as they are tall enough to be able to handle the overhead lockers and are strong enough to be able to aid other passengers who need help, they are often deemed fit for work.
