Video of the Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series assembly line is oddly relaxing

Every Porsche 911 is special, but some are more special than others. For example, the new 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series takes the already obscenely fast 911 Turbo S and garnishes it with a suite of special touches like a unique aero kit and a bump in horsepower, all for about $ 300,000. To show how much detail goes into each one of these models, Porsche released a video of a handsome Golden Yellow Metallic model rolling down the assembly line.

Production is limited to just 500 models, and we have no doubt each and every one has already been spoken for, even if it is a $ 100,000 premium over the standard model. The video shows the build process from sometime after the initial painting to the final torquing of the black and gold center-lock wheels. It’s actually quite relaxing to watch and listen to every light, panel, and trim piece put in place, all done without commentary.

Porsche’s YouTube channel is filled with plenty of good videos, from historical footage to more assembly line relaxation. While we wish more automakers would provide similar content, we can’t imagine the Chevrolet Cruze or Ford Escape assembly lines would be quite as satisfying to watch.
