Victoria’s Secret fashion show 2017: Date of lingerie catwalk revealed

The Victoria’s Secret fashion show announcement was made on Twitter by the brand on Tuesday 29th August.

The world’s biggest supermodels will be donning their wings to walk the catwalk.

Shanghai is the city chosen for this year’s show, with Paris being the hosts last year.

And now the date of the show has been revealed, with the TV broadcast date also shared.

This year’s runway show will take place in November, and will be broadcast to the world on 10pm (US time) 28 November on CBS.

UK fans will need to wait a little longer to watch their favourites strut their stuff on the runway.

The official air date in the UK hasn’t been confirmed, but the show typically airs on 4Music a week after it shows in the US.

However the really dedicated can subscribe to Hayu to watch the show at the same time as the USA.

Quite a few models have already been confirmed, with many old favourites making a welcome comeback.

Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Candice Swanepoel, Elsa Hosk and Martha Hunt are just some of the famous models who will be seen in November.

Gigi Hadid confirmed she will be making her third appearance for Victoria’s Secret with an excited Instagram post.

She wrote: “Forever and ever and ever a dream come true to be asked back to the VS Show!!!

“Every aspect makes me feel like a dreaming kid again.”

Supermodel Karlie Kloss also shared her excitement to be walking again, and wrote on Twitter: “See you in Shanghai, Victoria’s Secret!”

Previous cities the show has taken place include London, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Paris.

Last year, The Weekend, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars performed at the show, but this year’s acts will be announced at a later date.
