Unique Jewelry Made from Vintage Books

Bookish types and literary nerds rejoice: you can now wear your love of books on your body thanks to designer Jeremy May, who we learned about on Fubiz. His boutique Littlefly is a bibliophile’s dream. From the artist’s website:

Littlefly paper jewelery is made by laminating hundreds sheets of paper together, then carefully finishing to a high gloss. The paper is selected and carefully removed from a book, and the jewellery re-inserted in the excavated space. Each piece is impossible to replicate, and is unique to the wearer. The beauty of the jewels extends within the piece: text and images pass all the way though the object, only exposed at the surfaces – giving a tantalizing glimpse of the book within.

Between the colors, beautiful fragments of text, and unusual designs, May’s literary creations have us fiending for head-to-toe jewels. Take a closer look in our gallery.
