This protester just threw up on stage and returned to finish her speech on live TV: ‘It feels great!’

  • Sam Fuentes, one of the Parkland students, spoke during a rally in Washington, DC.
  • Partway through her speech, she bent down to throw up on stage. 
  • Fuentes returned, saying “I just threw up on international television, and it feels great!”
  • She finished her speech, which included leading the crowd in singing “Happy Birthday” in honor of her classmate, shooting victim named Nick Dworet, who would have turned 18 today.

Parkland shooting survivor Sam Fuentes spoke on live TV in front of thousands during Saturday’s March for Our Lives rally in Washington DC. Partway through her invigorating speech, Fuentes was overcome and bent down to throw up on the stage. She returned to the microphone after the crowd cheered her on.
