During a money-saving segment with Martin Lewis, one audience member spotted something rather unsavoury about the 36-year-old host.
Taking to social media, the person posted a video of Holly holding up an old pound coin and a new one to show the difference between the two.
However, as the camera zoomed in, Holly’s fingernails came into close focus and there appeared to be dirt under one of them.
The viewer added their own voiceover, saying: “Ah, Holly Willoughby… so beautiful and more importantly clean.”
As the camera revealed the dirt under her nail, the Twitter user was heard yelling in horror.
Another viewer picked up on the hilarious tweet and shared it, captioning it: “Ewww… #ThisMorning” along with a crying with laughter emoji.
Holly was holding up the the two coins as money expert Martin, 45, told viewers they only had a week left to use their old pounds before the switchover.
It comes as co-host Phillip Schofield had an accident while driving around the set in a toy car.
He ended up crashing several times into the ITV set as he zoomed through the studio.
At one point Phillip, 54, collided with a piece of furniture and took a panel off the table.
