This Morning on Sunday: ‘You’re sexy’ Eamonn Holmes red-faced as guest makes admission

This Morning on Sunday continued today and it was fronted by Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.

They welcomed Tchéky Kayro on to the ITV show to discuss the return of Julien Baptiste.

The Missing spin-off will see Tchéky’s French detective return for another mystery.

But before the group could get into the nitty-gritty of the new drama, it seemed Eamonn and Tchéky had built up a rapport.

Eamonn offered the actor some sourdough bread which was just lovingly made by Clodagh McKenna.

While doing so, he donned a French accent in homage of Baptiste.

Eamonn wondered what Tchéky thought about his attempts and the actor said: “You’re very sexy.”

While the host thanked Tchéky for his kind words, his wife, Ruth, giggled: “Shall I leave you two to it?”

Tchéky added: “You don’t have to chat to be sexy.”

Tonight’s Baptiste is sure to thrill viewers and the leading man was on hand to discuss what was coming.

Following on from The Missing which saw Baptiste go through brain surgery to remove a tumour, it seems he is back to full health and is ready to take on another case.

Tchéky added why he likes playing Julien, explaining: “He doesn’t drink, he’s faithful.

“He made the choice to be a good man. To be good is a choice.

“He did is so that’s why I love him – it’s an opportunity to be away from other characters.”

Viewers were thrilled to see Tchéky on screens and flocked to Twitter to share their reactions to the interview.

One said with a smiley face emoji: “Julian Baptiste off #TheMissing is on #ThisMorning right now”

A second added: “#ThisMorning  Great quote! ‘He Made The Choice To Be A Good Man’ I have also made that choice.”

A third commented: “Absolutely buzzing Julien Baptiste has his own spin off show  he was always my fave character on the missing!”

Meanwhile, viewers have had a mixed response to This Morning on Sunday.
