This man helps homeless people from his deathbed

From his deathbed he helps homeless. If we were like this ragwort, the world would be a nicer place.

Let’s be better, let’s be as Morrie.

If we take the example of ragwort named Morrie Boogaart, homeless people should have a little nicer life. Pensioner from the US Michigan handcuffed skin cancer, and advanced age for a bed in a hospice. However, even this 92-year ragwort not prevented as to help others.

Instead of thinking about death, Morrie every day knits hats for the homeless.

“I just enjoy it. Although I do not have eyes as good as it once was, but I could still knit. It’s my life, I’ve always liked helping people and not planning to quit,” said Morrie for WZZM13.

Ragwort learned to knit in 2001, from his daughter, Karen Lauters. Since then he knits every day, sometimes at night. Knitting one cap takes him about two days.

All he wants to get for Christmas, Father’s Day or birthday is wool. “What else do you give him,” laughs his daughter, “wool is all you need. And what to do with it, is amazing and inspiring.”

For more than 15 years he already knitted at least 8 thousand caps, which, thanks to organizations Salvation Army and Mel Trotter Ministries were given to homeless people.

“Winter hats for the homeless means a lot because they know that they wear something warm them, and it was knitted with love,” said Abbey Sladick organization of Mel Trotter Ministries. “Morrie show everyone that no matter whether we are old or young, sick or health – always we should help,” said Abbey.

Morrie tells himself that if he took the life of wool and knitting would die.

Let’s be better, let’s be as Morrie.
