The Windsors: Camilla and Theresa May's BRUTAL post-Brexit clash dubbed 'TV moment of 2017

The comedy soap opera, from the writers of Star Stories, imagined the Royal family as you’ve never seen them before.

Camilla Parker-Bowles, the Duchess of Cornwall (played by Haydn Gwynne) had an epic physical showdown against Prime Minister Theresa May (Gillian Bevan).

Clashing with the Royals over a post-Brexit Chinese trade deal, Camilla realised that Theresa wash’t there to be her friend, but using her to get a deal.

One viewer tweeted: “Theresa May and Camilla fighting has got to be the best TV moment of the year… #TheWindsors is most definitely back.”

“Strong and stable punch-up with Camilla #TheWindsors,” posted another, as a third wrote: “Teresa May & Camilla punch up! LMAO Magic! #TheWindsors.”

“Laughing so much at #TheWindsors. Theresa May is hilarious,” posted a fourth.

A fifth added: “Just stumbled upon #TheWindsors on @Channel4. F**king hilarious. More like this please.”

Pointless star Richard Osman tweeted: “I absolutely love #TheWindsors on C4, so stupid and clever at the same time.”

Prince Charles (Harry Enfield) tried to keep his family in order, but Prince William (Hugh Skinner) wanted to mingle with the people and became a childminder.

Pippa (Morgana Robinson), resentful at her sister for bagging a Prince, used a curse to harm her and tried to lure back Prince Harry.

Next week’s episode of The Windsors will see the new president Donald Trump make a UK state visit.

The Windsors continue next Wednesday on Channel 4 at 9pm.
