The Walking Dead season 10: Michonne star speaks out on ‘trippy’ Andrea scene

Thankfully, AMC confirmed the episode will air as a one-off special on Sunday, October 4, with production on season 11 hoped to start soon afterwards.

With Michonne absent from the series going forward, the makeup of the series could look a lot different as TWD hurtles towards Robert Kirkman’s original Commonwealth arc from the comic books.

However, with multiple spin-offs and a film trilogy on the way, it’s not unreasonable to assume Danai Gurira will eventually reprise her role as Michonne for a cameo appearance somewhere down the line.

The Walking Dead, A Certain Doom, will air October 4 on AMC. Seasons 1-9 are available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
