Speaking to press including Express.co.uk at the launch for the latest series, Tom confessed that The Voice team made a few gaffes along the way.
After a screening of the first episode, in which one particular contestant didn’t get any turns, he yelled: “We should have turned for him.
“I just don’t understand it. That’s why I shouted out [when I watched it]. Press the button!
“It was a mistake. He had the whole package,” Tom, 77, admitted.
Newcomer judge Olly Murs interjected: “But we have to say, as much as you’ve seen some bad choices, we made some really good choices.
“You’ll see that throughout the rest of the season,” the 33-year-old said.
This comes as Jennifer Hudson admitted she bought Olly a bath robe following his nakedness on set.
In return, J-Hud was gifted some snazzy trainers by the former X Factor host after she explained how much she loved his.
