HBoss certainly made an impression on The Voice UK when he arrived with his light-up trainers.
The confident singer performed his songs but failed to get a turn from coaches Olly Murs, Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and will.i.am.
However, he clearly wasn’t deterred by the set back and decided to show the judges just what they’ve missed.
As the band played their backing music, HBoss – AKA Harold – started break-dancing on the floor.
Fans of The Voice know that the coaches are not allowed to see the contestants if they don’t press their button for them.
But with the crowd going crazy for Hboss’ dancing, Jennifer couldn’t help herself and turned around for a sneaky look.
It wasn’t long before the entire coaching line-up turned around to see what the big fuss was about.
At the end of his impromptu dance, HBoss left the stage and was followed by will.i.am who was keen to speak to the dancer.
The Black Eyed Peas front man congratulated the contestant for his performance and wished him luck for the future.
Viewers of The Voice joked about the coaches’ apparent break from format, with one posting: “You naughty judges you were all peeping though you didn’t turn for that contestant! So funny he had some moves though!”
A second joked: “Judges should get electric shocks for peeping!”
Meanwhile, a third joked: “All of the judges heads poking out to watch the guy dancing on tonight’s episode of The Voice is hilarious.”
In the same thrilling instalment, Olly Murs suffered a disastrous technical malfunction.
Despite pressing his buzzer, the 33-year-old’s chair failed to turn.
will.i.am was in hysterics over the blunder which was eventually resolved in time for the coaches’ pitches.
The Voice UK continues next Saturday on ITV at 8pm.
