Business Insider IntelligenceThe number of Assistant-enabled devices available to consumers worldwide has exploded in 2018, jumping 567% from 1,500 in January to 10,000 in October, Google announced last week. That number also represents 100% growth in Assistant-enabled devices since May, when there were 5,000.
The explosion in Assistant-enabled devices was likely aided by Google’s move to make those devices more accessible to international audiences. Google expanded the number of supported languages and dialects available for Assistant-enabled devices beyond US English in December.See the rest of the story at Business Insider
