June Osborne (played by Elisabeth Moss) swore never to let baby Nichole grow up in Gilead, no matter who was looking after her, finally sending her over the Canadian border where she would be safe. But, in a mammoth episode set in Washington DC in which Commander Fred Waterford (Joseph Fiennes) and Serena Joy (Yvonna Strahovski) made a plea for the public to find Nichole and reunite the family, something wasn’t right. After scouring the episode, fans have spotted a major issue with this episode.
“In S3 E6, at the end, the handmaids are standing near the former Lincoln Memorial,” a viewer recently explained.
“You see rows of Handmaids. There were a lot of Handmaids, maybe around 2,000-3,000.
“Are those all the Handmaids in the whole of Gilead, and are there Handmaids in the disputed territories, light pink?”
This was quickly followed by another fan who thought they had cracked it.

Serena star Yvonna recently said how difficult the Washington DC scenes were to film.
She explained: “To stand in an area known for people exercising their First Amendment rights to peacefully assemble and object felt dirty.”
She explained: “As actors, when you play these horrid characters, [you know] that yes, they have feelings and they have hearts.
“And they have moments where you, as an audience member, can sympathize.
“And selfishly, as an actor, I want you to feel pity for Serena and be confused [by her choices].
“But you just feel kind of gross sitting there and justifying all these horrendous actions.”
But, the question of the hour: Who will finally save June from Gilead?
And will they make it even if they do manage to get her out?
