Susanna Reid SHUNS Piers Morgan after GMB segment goes awry: 'Talk to the hand'

The ITV duo were chatting to former Britain’s Got Talent winner Ashleigh Butler and new pup Sully when Piers, 52, thought that disciplining a dog would be easier than it looks.

Talking to the 22-year-old guest, the outspoken host said: “What I’ve discovered is that it’s not you – that dog will do anything for chocolate”

Putting it to the test, Piers turned to Susanna, 46, and started talking to her like a pooch while holding chocolate to her face.

It seems that his colleague was less than impressed however, snapping back: “Talk to the hand because the face ain’t listening.

“Just ignore Piers Morgan,” she told a confused Sully who scrambled to reach the goodies.

The segment ended with the pair as friends as Piers eventually handed the chocolate to the pup after he stood up on his back legs for it.

Last week, Good Morning Britain was thrown into absolute chaos when Piers called a guest a “d**k” live on air.

Susanna was visibly shocked by the comment, but her co-host insisted that he was just making a reference to the “Love Guru’s” name of Richard La Ruina.

The guest got the last laugh as he snapped back: “Is your name Piers Moron then? If you want to get on to that.”

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV from 6am.
