The duo were joined by former EastEnders star Tracy-Ann Oberman when they were seen having a playful catch-up, blissfully unaware the cameras were rolling and they were being seen by millions of Channel 4 viewers.
What’s more, their conversation definitely wasn’t suitable for daytime television.
Tracy was heard gasping: “Oh my god, that is SO up your street.
“You’ve got to see The Book of Mormon, it is the filthiest…”
However, before she could finish her sentence, Tim swooped in to intervene, turned to the camera and grinned: “Oh, welcome back to Sunday Brunch!”
Unsurprisingly, the actress then proceeded to slam her head on the table in shame.
Simon teased: “If you ever doubted that it’s live…”
Tim interjected: “We were just talking about musicals and stuff there.”
During today’s particularly eventful instalment of Sunday Brunch, viewers also noticed two hilarious gaffes.
After spotting a spelling error, Tracy also fluffed poaching the perfect egg; quite disastrously too.
